Conferences & Symposia

On a regular basis DIDASCALIA organizes conferences and symposia:

- CALL Conferences:

From 2001 on DIDASCALIA has taken up the editorship of Computer Assisted Language Learning. An International Journal (Swets & Zeitlinger) (Jozef Colpaert: Editor and Saskia Van Bueren: Assistant Editor). The goal of these conferences is to increase the coherence of the CALL field by fostering discussion on research methodology and directions. In 2002 DIDASCALIA has organized the 10th edition of this conference. At this very moment we are preparing CALL 2004 - CALL and Research Methodologies.

- Symposia:

As part of the research project Pedagora - Added value of broadband networks for multimedia language learning DIDASCALIA has organized five symposia. The main theme of these symposia was the implementation of ICT in language learning.  The programs included international keynotes and important Dutch-speaking presenters. The latest DIDASCALIA-symposium was organized in 2001 but others will surely follow!
